The Goal of Hospice

The caring and highly-trained staff of TenderCare Hospice will:

  • focus on improving comfort and reducing pain.
  • help control disease symptoms for an improved quality of life.
  • provide emotional and spiritual support.
  • involve patients and family members in decision-making.
  • help patients maintain dignity throughout the end of life process.

Medicare Coverage

TenderCare Hospice is a Medicare-certified agency.
This means there will be no out-of-pocket expenses if:

  • you are eligible for Medicare PartA coverage;
  • your doctor and the Hospice Medical Director certify that you are terminally ill and have 6 months or less to live if the illness runs its normal course;
  • you sign a statement choosing TenderCare Hospice instead of other Medicare-covered benefits to treat your terminal illness.

We’re ready to help.

Simply call us at (844) 423-9500, and one of our specially-trained nurses will talk with you about your specific situation. There is no charge for your initial nursing assessment. We’ll also contact your doctor to plan the medical care to be provided.

TenderCare Hospice

Medical science can do amazing things. But sometimes a cure is just not possible. The focus of hospice is to treat symptoms of the disease, such as pain or nausea, rather than treating the disease itself.

Hospice nurses and doctors are skilled in the latest techniques to help relieve pain and improve your comfort. It allows you to take charge of the time that remains, so you and your family can spend precious time together.

Hospice services are available for those who are expected to live six months or less should a terminal illness run its normal, expected course. Hospice helps patients and families choose a path to remain as alert, pain-free and comfortable as possible.
